Frequently Asked Questions

Thoughtful answers to help you feel informed, comfortable, and completely at ease.

What is the difference between Bikini, Partial Brazilian, and Brazilian?

A Bikini service cleans up the sides and top of the bikini line—anything that may show while wearing a modest swimsuit.

A Partial Brazilian includes the bikini area plus the back, removing hair that may show when wearing a thong.

A Brazilian removes hair from the front, back, and everything in between.

What is Vajazzling?

Vajazzling (also known as crystaling) is the art of adorning the intimate area with Swarovski crystals using a skin-safe adhesive.

Choose from pre-designed arrangements, initials, hearts, or something uniquely personal. The crystals can last up to one week with proper care.

I am prone to ingrown hairs — what can I do?

Exfoliation is essential. Use a sea salt scrub, sugar scrub, or exfoliating cloth two to three times per week to prevent dead skin from trapping hair.

Keeping the skin moisturized and healthy will further reduce ingrowns.

Will it hurt as much as waxing?

Most clients find sugaring to be less painful than waxing, though pain tolerance varies. You may take a mild pain reliever containing caffeine beforehand. Avoid coffee prior to your appointment.

How long should I wait between appointments?

We recommend scheduling appointments every four to six weeks to allow hair to grow in the same cycle. Your technician can guide you based on your individual growth pattern.

Is redness or irritation after sugaring normal?

Mild redness or irritation is completely normal and usually subsides within 24 hours. Cold compresses or soothing creams can help.

What should I know before my sugaring appointment?

Avoid lotions, creams, deodorants, sun exposure, hot tubs, or workouts on the day of your appointment.

The ideal time for sugaring is four days after your menstrual cycle, when pain sensitivity is lower.

How long will my skin stay smooth?

Most clients remain smooth for approximately two weeks before regrowth. Regular appointments are recommended every three to six weeks.

Does tanning affect waxing or sugaring?

Yes. Please allow a few days between tanning and hair removal services. Sun-exposed skin is sensitive and waxing or sugaring immediately after tanning can cause irritation.

What is a Facial?

A facial is a comprehensive skin treatment that may include cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks, massage, and customized skincare.

How often should I get a facial?

For optimal skin health, facials are recommended every six weeks. As we age, the skin’s natural renewal process slows, making routine facials essential for maintaining a youthful glow.
